Not necessarily bad, but the worst QOTSA album. This album should be a Josh Homme side project and not QOTSA branded. It's okay to like this, but you can't say that this is the same band that brought you SFTD, QOTSA or Rated R. It's almost as ridiculous as saying this was an album from Kyuss - who, by the way, had to change their name to continue playing Kyuss songs. So, thumbs down for a QOTSA album, thumbs up for a pop-rock-far-too-gone-mainstream-album. I really hope that this is just a phase and that JH will come back to his senses and call Nick Oliveri(or)Alain Johannes/Joey Castillo(or)Dave Grohl/Mark Lanegan back.
"Feet Don't Fail Me" is one of the best songs of the 2 last albums, though. That's my review.

I think this dude should stick around, he knows stuff. This does bare more resemblance to an Eagles of Death Metal album than a QOTSA one & guess what?... they both suck. Probably not a coincidence.

No, this is more TCV than anything

They're obv more bluesy but they def have a bit of dance in them
But anyone should know QotSA has almost always had that, especially SotD and Era

Dude you need to check TCV, don't disregard that album. It is a long one, but it's got some amazing riffs.

Yep, I would agree

It's certainly better than The Way You Used to Poo, which isn't much of a compliment really.
Maybe I'll check TCV, I'm not promising though.

Lol that title change is so simple yet so hilarious
At least listen to the lead single, New Fang. It's short and to the point. The rest of the tracks are quite drawn out, however.

inconsequential fun, that's the best description I could give for this album

That kick in the head, however, was consequential fun

How Do You Do Mr. Magoo is easily one of the band's worst songs in their entire discog

Pretty sure I ranked the songs on here at some point. I had Un-reborn like third from last but that one's grown on me. Hideaway and TWYUTD are the only ones I don't really like
