There's the scientific way to find and listen to music...is great to discover new things and form opinions about bands and genres. And then there's the emotional one, the one that puts me listening to an entire discog of a band like a crazy teenager in repeat, like there's nothing else, like that music is the only thing that matter...that's always what i'm looking for in music.

In relation to the genre centric taste, for some reason a tend to like more the crossover bands. Sound with few boundaries and artistic freedom pursuit.

Vox aren't very high in the mix, easy to tune out. But, you shouldn't, because they are fucking killer.

Is it just me or is there a bit of black metal influence creeping in here and there on this record?

That screech opening Anchored to the Inlayed Arc (I think that's the one) always reminds me of BM.

my favorite part of the album is that transition in vacant explorer like 2 mins in when they go from the slow first part of a song into what is basically a drum fill with guitars going over it like WEEEEEEEEE WOOOOOOO and then the blastbeating madness starts, it's just insane
