Oh, for some reason I thought there was another Staff review for this. I guess I was mistaken.
Yeh, this is their poppiest for sure. Darius, have you checked Summertime Gladness? It's a single they released last summer. Definitely as poppy as this, but it's got some funk as well, and it's catchy as all heck. I'm intrigued to hear how the next album will sound... hoping for a summer release.

Petting Zoo Justice, Man of the Year, Frozen One? It's not like they're balls out heavy, but heavier and more "metallic" than most of the other stuff in their discog.

Eh, I guess it really depends. Frozen One & Man of the Year def have more of a "-core" sound to them to me, though it's up to interpretation if you consider that heavy or not.
