I think its one of those albums that if we get too much comparative we may not take the best out of it. When I put this on time just fly by (thus some wrong sensation of lacking highlights) as if the tracks communicate between them. Mars to Sirius f.e. does that, but its much more technical and long and sometimes a can t finish it. Truth is I want more Gojira tracks like Low Lands or Born in Winter.

I don't think the production helps this one tbh, it's far too polished for Gojira and the guitars lack that signature punch they usually have.

Oh they definitely get creative with this one, big props for that.
Just saying I think if they manage to refine this newfound melodic side to their music on the next LP it'll rule.
Some of the ideas here feel half baked.
