NITND is probably my favorite Katatonia, so many memories of driving around at night in winter, snow falling, listening to that album.

Bruce Soord absolutely outdid himself with the surround mix here, legit one of the best sounding metal albums I can think of, so clean and quiet. So happy they sold it for "cheap" alongside the CDs, which then become pretty much as useful as a frisbee.

God I need to jam this more. I spammed everything from The Great Cold Distance onward but this never really grabbed me as much as the others did. Need to see if that has changed since this came out.

I think Takeover could be their best song ever for me. Their "techy with emotionz" sound doesn't get more perfected than that imo.
