I'm actually digging the guys who did the second ending of hunter x hunter in the 1999 version.

Hey google translator works well with short phrases..but still not a translator to trust. We English students are forbidden to use any kind of translators.

The performance from Wacken found on AQA 1 that I mentioned earlier is pretty fantastic, especially considering the circumstances.

I watched both and I'm just sad that those mid screams that are in the chorus weren't performed . I'm trying to learn how to scream and that tone is sick but I can't hear a live version of it to try and learn from

And Evo, that Sukekiyo song is siiiick. Kyo is just a monster.

They don't need the screams because they always do a monster growl in the second chorus.

But I still want to hear them :'( but the growls are equally impressive, it's nice knowing half of the band are vocalists hahaha.

Some parts if they keep doing on a consistent basis it'll kill his throat even more than he has, that's one of them. Plus I love how he keeps changing stuff live, makes it more interesting. Hype for the Mode of Withering version if that becomes a thing.

Oh yeah I totally agree that it's nice to hear the changeup. I just haven't heard a single live rendition of that part and I think it's sick. How can you tell which parts are harder on his voice? Is it the tone? Or just the fact that they avoid it live? And yeahhh, that would be hella nice to see.

Doing that part specifically won't be as much trouble as much as the insane things which he has done in the past (e.g. No one should have to sing Juuyoku on a huge tour in every show) but some parts they can cut corners and it'll be just as good. In that case you have the backing vocals covering for that plus sometimes fans sing that part so it isn't really necessary. Now something like Red Soil's vocal jumble, that they probably leave out sometimes because it's too hard. The parts that will do the most harm to himself are any fry screams and inhale growls.

Ahh I see I see. I didn't know fry screams did that much damage to the vocals since it seems to be the singer's scream of choice (Dave Grohl, Jared Leto, new Oli Sykes, etc). But that makes sense. Yeah Juuyoku seems ridiculous vocally haha. And damnnn, The Final. Withering is SOOOO sick.

In terms of vocal performance, this along with the second performance of the AQA Part 2 doc are the best he's done of Juuyoku (beast performance too): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RtlFmTkwO28

There's also the Shibuya AX one, especially in terms of lows.

I'm in love with their way to write riffs that can be manipulated and incorporated in various songs and still feel so fresh. The riff at 1:23 in Diabolos and 0:25 in Kaishun sound similar yet the songs work quite differently. I almost feel as if they jam out certain riffs and create various incarnations of songs based off of single riffs. It's as if they establish thematic elements that can be heard across albums. I still haven't dug into some of their older material (Macabre - Vulgar era) so I can't tell if it's a new thing or if I'm just reading into it but I'm intrigued to see if they do play off these things in their next album.

Can be said for their later material but their earlier stuff not so much, it was just a natural progression (middle era) or very different every time (visual kei era).

I feel that. I'm not sure I'll ever be able to appreciate the entire albums they put out in that era but damn there are some greaaaat tunes in there.
