oh it's definitely not outright bad, but a considerable step down from their other material in my opinion. Worst of all it's just boring. Oh well. Glad some people like it.

The Portal stuff is great and doesn’t sound like a demo at all

I mostly agree, I just wish the production was less flat and sounded more like Carbon-Based Anatomy. It is a good album

I do agree Jester that the production is lacking, that definitely hold me back from going higher than a 3.5.



I just think this album gets a really bad rap because it followed Traced in Air, which is like, the most epic album ever, and tried to do something really different.



Tracks 1-2, and 6-7 are really nice. The middle is probably the weakest part of the album.
