Agaetis is my fave probably because it sounds the most inhuman to me, the alien wonder is magnified on that one. It’s something they’ve always had to an extent, but it fluctuates from release to release. Med Sud almost sounds like it was made by a ‘normal’ band.

i can back agaetis sounding the most "alien" yeah. its got a magic to it that feels the least grounded in reality of all their records, which is cool as fuck

Still nothing new since that one off song Ovedur from 5+ years ago. Would be nice if they had written some new material and get going on an album like a lot of artists have been doing during covid, including ones that were defunct or on hiatus.

Jonsi's latest solo album definitely did nothing to scratch the itch. I actually enjoyed the release of that 'Odin' recording or whatever it was called... but yeah it's about time, we need NEW material.

Also did anyone listen to Obsisian from Jonsi? It sounds like a continuation of Valtari. It's very good, and could have easily been a Sigur Ros album
