It was good for everything! Every genre I love had something amazing come out and I think 2016 might be just as amazing.
Back on track though, if anything, I'll just cut out all of the tracks from the double LP that I don't like and make one "complete" record to my liking

I'm a little apprehensive of a double album too but if it's this cohesive for both sides, I'll have no issues. On topic of good years, I thought 2014 was pretty fucking awesome too. 2015 was definitely a letdown year but it still brought out some good stuff too

I actually really liked 2015, though I will agree that 2013 was a barnstormer.
I think I'd still rather they just did two separate releases, but if it rules then I won't really care too much. Plus it's cheaper.

Double LPs that aren't concept records have always been strange to me. If the band/artist is convinced that they have two albums worth of amazing material, why not just release two separate albums six months to a year apart?
2014 was a notch or so below the gloriousness of 2013 but 2015 was a total dud year for me. I had maybe five records I really loved and the rest was just pretty good to meh.

I'm actually hoping both sides are quite different from each other. Maybe two different concepts

Different concepts would be the only way I think they could justify it. Anything else would be kinda daft on their part, really.
And ;-;, A Bitter Divorce still never fails to level me.

I'm kind of expecting some of the folk vibes off one of the vocalist's (can't remember his name) solo record, which isn't a bad thing at all really.

I listened to this again. It was better this time around. Seems like I'll need to be in a certain mood to really like it, but I guess that's pretty much how all pop-punk is for me these days.

Where on their Facebook does it claim that there's gonna be a double LP? They ask if people would like a double LP, but there's no announcement of anything.

I think a double LP might be too much, one of the best things about this album is that it's lean and concise.

Anyone seen the piano cover by Petal of A Bitter Divorce? Not usually a fan of piano covers of songs, at least not since they've been done to death by TV adverts, but this is good.

I feel really dumb, but I've never seen this band live or anything and haven't listened to Bobby's solo work, but which singer is which? If someone could give me a song where one or the other did the majority of the vocals I could pinpoint the rest but I've never really knew haha and I've been jamming this band since It's a Trap

Leo has a more...throaty voice i guess. Bobby's is more emo-tinged and whiny. not to hate on him, i love his vocals, but thats the best way i can describe his voice right now lol.

I definitely will. And it's not that I like Leo's vocals more, just the songs I like more. A Bitter Divorce, Adultery, and Montreal are my most visited jams on here probably
