It's all a balance, dudes. When kids have messed up enough shit because they haven't learned about cause and effect, some old dude will feel the need to step in, angry about the loss of some random standards he grew up with.
It's like poking a badger. It's very, very hard to get a positive response from that.
The comfort is that one day you will also find yourself assaulted by ignorant kids with wrecking balls.

I agree with that. This will always be my favorite because the atmosphere is so fantastically palpable and I love how David Vincent sounds here. It's them at their classist imo. But Altars, Covenant, Gateways, and even their newest one are all fucking amazing death metal albums. One of the very best.

Formulas might be my fave, but Blessed is the best with Vincent on vox. I think he started sounding worse with each album after this one

Yeah pretty much all MA slays.
For me it's something like Covenant > Altars > This > Formulas > Gateways. Although this is probably on par with Altars for me, or at least pretty close.
Been too long since I've heard Domination though, not really sure where I'd fit it but from memory but I know I didn't like it as much as Formulas.
