Altars is best but Blessed and Abominations aren’t far behind. Covenant is essential to yeah. I dig Gateways hard too tbh but I haven’t heard anything else.

I personally think Blessed is their best - it's like the best of Altars and Covenant on one album, plus more doomy elements and genuinely creepy atmosperic interludes.



Then Covenant and Altars are basically tied. Then Gateways and Formulas are basically tied. Then Damnation and the newest one.



I actually fucking love Morbid Angel but this album is some serious garbage.
