I've listened a coupled times and I didn't like how low the drums were in the mix, but now it sounds like that's what they were going for: A natural, harmonious feel.

I actually didn't like this album that much the first couple spins, just something about the production kept throwing me off, but now i think it's perfect the way it is.
Love how sparingly Geoff screams on this as well, makes the times that he does have way more impact

Same with me Spirit. This album blows their other work out of the water for me.

I love their early stuff, but it's way nostalgic for me and I can see why it wouldn't appeal to some users especially if you really like this style. This one took a long time for me to even check out, tbh. Kind of lost interest in them with Common Existence.

I like at least a few songs from each album, but this is the only one I love from front to back. I didn't get into these guys during the post-hardcore craze so that's definitely a factor.

this is prob one of their most consistent yeah. full and war are great but are kinda inconsistent in places (war especially)
tho city is their most consistent/has their best highs imo. will never get why thats the album that the general consensus deems their worst

City is definitely far from their worst yeah.

I think Full Collapse is nearly as good as this, but it's definitely in a completely different way.
A City, and Common Existence are great albums that helped paved the road to this sound, but neither are quite as consistent front to back.
The demos to city, really ruined parts of the official album for me. Like telegraph ave is straight butchered on the album imo

Full Collapse > War All the Time > No Devolucion = City By the Light Divided > Waiting > Common Existence
I like a lot of songs from WATT, ND, & CBTLD, but for me Full Collapse is their most solid. I remember the day it came out though and it blew me away. If you guys haven't heard the acoustic version of A Hole in the World, you should check it out. It is great.

Yeah Turnpike Divides is perfect and is definitely a top 10 song of all time for me. It was kinda a shame when I saw them live and they closed with this and I was freaking out and everyone else seemed to know nothing past War All The Time :/.
It's actually crazy cause I only found this band in 2011 and most people there probably knew them since Full Collapse and yet I was way more familiar with the setlist as a whole
