Is anybody else finding themselves obsessing over this album? it's been 2 months now and it still sounds a new and fresh as the first time i listened to it. Absoloute Genius!

Does anybody think this album is highly overated? I just dont seem to find much power in any songs besides wishing well. Vocals don't do much for me neither.

This shit's energetic as balls, I'll give it that. The whining harsh vox are a bit annoying, though. Guitar lead in Dark Horse is great, though.

Because Converge is hard as hell to get into. You hear about them, you get curious, you listen, you either don't get it or you hate it, depending on what music you already listen to.
But you still hear about how amazing this band is, in magazines, on websites, everywhere, so you want to understand what the big deal is. You listen again, it's still eh, but it's better. Try another song, same reaction. You want to understand. You hear about how big of a deal Jane Doe is supposed to be, eventually you listen to all of it. Yeah, it still sounds messy, but it's getting good. The lyrics certainly impress you. Wait awhile, even months, you listen again, and it sparks something. You start to get passed the noise, where you can hear the instruments. The vocals are still raw, but you start to understand the passion and the emotion. You like it, you're impressed. Thing is, it gets better with every listen.
Sound like how everyone else felt?
