Way Through Woven Branches is really underrated I think

i think people just go into the band expecting ""post metal"" but most of their stuff is v different than this and most post metal, a lot of which is just sludgy crescendocore (i love isis but thats basically what this album is)



they have entirely their own approach to writing music and arent rly at all similar to the bands they usually get lumped in with

aeon isnt their best track

and yeah spot on analysis climactic, nobody in the genre writes songs with as much depth, precision or grace

Dude , I have tried , but Scott Kelly's vocals are the worst. Just ruins the entire experience for me..and trust me when I tell you I have listened to more post metal than u think I have. Not just strictly post metal per say , many branches and fusions..atmospheric sludge , post black , post grunge ..etc etc. Always on the look out for greatness in my favorite genre ;)
