@rockandmetaljunkie I wasn’t saying that I believed a return with Messiah would happen again, I was just saying that the general fans would always clamor for it since he’s arguably the “face” of the band in the generic fan’s eyes. We both know of it’s unlikeliness though.
As for my “romantic” way of looking at these things, I never really take into account the relationships between these band members unless it’s thrown out in public. I guess with some reunions I wouldn’t mind seeing, they would be impossible because of the relationships between band members, and most importantly, how much money a reunion project and tour would make.
Thanks for the links by the way. Now I can read a little bit more into the drama with Messiah hopefully.

I just felt that Tales was the most brooding/menacing they had sounded since this and that atmosphere is a big part of why I love this one so much and I just feel it's a bit a lacking in Nightfall and Ancient Dreams, though I still find both album to be fantastic

It is boring and badly written, although the band tried their best with what they had at their disposal.

Honestly I dig chapter VI just as much as Nightfall and Ancient Dreams easily. Only one or two misfires on the whole record, guitar solos are great, riffs are tasty, and the new vocalist is straight up phenomenal.
