"Head Club is such a shite closer for this, how you gonna end with that rather than Ballad of Sal/Your Own Disaster"

Your Own Disaster was such a jammmmmmm

for sure, if it was closer it would've pushed WYWTB to this band's second best, over Louder Now. c'est la vie

I used to really like the song "Eleven" as well, but I think that was from their demo or something like that.

Eleven is from their demo, I believe that's one of the songs that features Jesse Lacey singing backing vocals, my fave song from that bunch is Go On

I have to agree with Rowan on this one, Head Club is a weak closer, even John and Adam said its their worst song, that was decision of Victory and the studio fellas, the band left recording with 12 tracks finished so some decisions were made without their approval, I believe Your Own Disaster was supposed to be the original closer, shit move tbh because The Ballad of Sal Villanueva is hands down one of the best songs they've ever made

Anyone else notice a weird ringing that happens whenever the vocals start up? Like some production error they didn’t notice? Just me?

my comment from page 40 of this review thread:

"I just can't enjoy this album because of the high-pitched ringing sound that accompanies the vocal tracks. Somebody didn't notice there was electrical interference going on when this thing was recorded. Really hurts my ears and kind of ruins the entire album unfortunately."

I bothered to go through every track and edit out the ringing myself because i had time to kill one day. Couldn't believe how unlistenable it was.

I first noticed the ringing on this album the very first time I listened to it, like 5 years ago. It’s super noticeable in the first track (listen closely in the “we won’t stand for hazy eyes” section) you hear it more with headphones too.

It’s also suuuuper noticeable on the “think of all the time we spent” beat drop. Maybe it’s just the Spotify version but it’s legit the first thing I heard when I initially checked this.

I just listened, and what you're hearing is the cymbals. The drums kind of sound like crap in the mix. That "ringing" is from the resonation of whichever cymbal he's hitting, hence why it sounds louder during the "hazy eyes" part.
