I just went on an Animal Collective spree, listening to Sung Tongs, Feels, Strawberry Jam and ending with this in the quest to force myself to like Animal Collective. It worked. Everything clicked. I see the genius. This is amazing.

Anyone have any recent setlists? Is intrigued.
the show i saw had some really longwinded intro that went on for ten minutes and then there was a power failure lol so they just started playing guys eyes when it started up instead.
after that they played a couple of tracks from SJ (chores and fireworks i think), most of MPP, slippi from here comes the indian and their new song which is incredible ("what would i want sky" i think, i have some mp3 of it from a bbc session). but they also finished with leaf house off sung tongs. nothing off feels. : ( also they play down my girls like they hate it for some reason

I just did it to see why (almost) everyone loves this and I don't get it. If 9 out of 10 people agree this is good, I have to be missing something. Apparently it just took going backwards to realize how good this is.

The first time I heard about Animal Collective I thought Avey Tare and Panda Bear were a big black guy and a fat woman folk duo. I was greatly dissappointed the first time I heard their music.
