Malia and Curtis stuff is not only simplistic, is also repetitive, shitty they are just capable to play shitty pop punk chrods and generic same breakdowns over and over again, their guitar work is at the same level of emmure, oceano, waking the cadaver and attila. Jona bascilly wasted 3 years with Ollie and company, he is capable of much more

you listed the handful of notably not-horrible djent bands, as if to imply that they negate the general crappiness of the djent scene.
Yeah I know that a big part of the active users of sputnik disliked djent, I'm ok with that fella, in fact most of the djent comments I put are far from being serious. Consider djent another pop metal subgenre, is hit or miss and despite bands like hactivist, structures, I the breather and lots clones of volumes and monuments it has well constructed works
