I personally think that this album takes a bit too much crap, mainly just because it's A7X. Their new album was bad/mediocre, but the songs in here are quite interesting and full of neat guitarwork. Also The Rev makes a good performance on the drums here. It isn't anything all that special, but It ain't bad either.

some good riffs, some half descent vocals, alot of SH T Vocals, "we're not Metalcore anymore because its cool now to hate metalcore, so instead we're gonna try to be a pretentious, epic, rip-off of guns and roses, except with double bass. oh and we all have bad ass nick names like M. This was the first metal album I bought, and it got me into MUCH heavier stuff. Before this I listened to some junky alt. bands, so I have a little sweet spot for this. I personally am not a huge fan of their old hardcore sound, or their new safer sound, so I thought this was pretty awesome!

The list titled 'Bands that im made fun of for liking' is pretty apt. This album surprised me as to how good it was. I cant STAND the image these guys are portraying (and what the hell is with their names... Kinda lame...) and will probably never bother seeing them live on the back of it. But for what this album sets out to do, it succeeds pretty well honestly.



Plus for the most part I dont like screaming for screaming sake so I havent even bothered to look at previous albums of these guys since I had heard about the throat surgery. This album is more interesting for it.
