Green Day are embarrassing. Real punk bands tell the truth, like how Bush and co. planned 9/11. Green Day use a vain corporate fake anti-Bush stance because their label paid them to duh it's a metaphor for the lies the government feeds you through music you sheep

Album seems to be a bit of a hit and miss. Boulevard and Suburbia are good, but rest isnt that great.

I'm hoping 21st Century Breakdown will be a lot better than this...

I'm going to record a concept album. It's going to be about Bush, and it's going to give him the respect he deserves.
I suppose Billy Joe doesn't care about the economy, since he's a millionaire, but for those of us that need to work (and reside in the UK or US) the war in Iraq was absolutely necessary. Hussein wanted to start trading Iraqi oil in Euros, which would f*ck up the petrodollar, which would further f*ck up your economy.
Bush knew it would destroy his reputation when the real reasons for the war came out, but he did it anyway. He sacrificed his own reputation for all of us. And i am personally offended that a guy thinks a little bit of eyeliner and a guitar makes his half baked musings on Bush era politics worth hearing.
The anti-Bush trend in punk music is pathetic. The man is a hero. And once the dust settles and a new, unbiased crop of political historians arise, he'll take his rightful place as one of the top 5 US presidents ever.

yes you're right let's kill innocent people so our economy doesn't get a bit more fucked up.
either you're a joke account or a f**king imbecile, i'm going to guess the latter. anybody who thinks george bush was a good president is screwed in the head, sorry.

americans only voted in barack obama because they thought he was tiger woods

Innocent people die in wars. That's what happens. I see absolutely nothing wrong with fighting for natural resources. Especially when the person you are really fighting isn't all that innocent.
I suggest you educate yourself on either Saddam Hussein, or the definition of the word innocent. Then reassess who the "imbecile" is here.
In case you can't be bothered, the answer is you.

gonna reiterate
americans only voted in barack obama because they thought he was tiger woods

I never called Saddam Hussein innocent, did I?
It's been a fair while since I've come across someone as obnoxious as you on the internet. Just 'cause nobody likes you in real life doesn't mean your condescending arrogance is more likely to find you friends on the web. F**k off.
Innocent people die in wars. That's what happens.
Saying 'that's what happens' doesn't make it OK, and if you think it does you're stupid. Does saying 'the police beat protesters up' make that fine too? Does 'Fritzl raped his daughter, that's what happened,' make it OK? Lolz.
Actually don't know why I'm rising to you because you're the most serious internet-person in the world, but whatever.
Album's great.
