it's funny you mention the vocals, because I feel like they sounded so much better on some songs than others (especially Prince, when it had that AtF-era reverby sound going on).
but they definitely didn't do any favors for his screams for the most part (excepting the end of Royal, which actually still could've been better if they'd sounded more like WP or s/t in terms of production).
