This might be sacrilege, but I just never got it with this album. I can't even take a sniff around this after hearing Carrie and Lowell. What am I missing?

I find the ambient/interlude stuff on this album a bit frustrating and it seems like the heavy hitters are concentrated in the first half of the record, but yeah, this is pretty great.

Is it just me, or does "Chicago" have a little bit of Coldplay "Clocks" in its DNA?

That reminds me: That part at 2:40 in “Come On!...” is like straight up lifted from a The Cure song, I forget which one. Is that an intentional tribute, or...?

'Casimir Pulaski Day' is such a subtle, captivating track. Which Sufjan album would you recommend if this is my starting point? Any of his other work that's more in the style of 'Jacksonville'?

The t/t is one of the greatest songs of all time. A true booty mover.
