Okay yoiu got me, it's put together very well...... with predictable riffs, predictable changes and a more than predictable and cheesy ending. I don't know what to tell you man, it just is.

To me PTH is predictable and not at the same time in general.

I guess, but then there's "The Dissentience", "Wretch" and the ending/beginning Palms/limb that just slap you accross the face. Also, i truly throught when i read "Goddess Bound" "goddess Gagged' I was waiting for some epic outro, but then i listened to it and it just abruptly ended so perfectly.

The ending of this album is so musically anticlimactic. And I don't care if they meant to leave it open-ended, Coke.

Just redo the playlist.

I put Dissen. after Seq. Throne and put Palms read at the end of the album.

The ending of Avenged Sevenfold's S/T is better then the ending of this one IMO.

I changed my mind guys Sequoia Throne pretty much slays. The only songs that aren't like whoa are The Dissentience, Spoils and Goddess Gagged even though they are good songs.

Sequoia's one of my favourites. I don't like Spoils at all.

Yah it's definately my least favorite PTH song (I haven't heard Calculated Use of Sound).

The Dissentience is one of the best on here.

Too many stand out tracks to precisely label one as "the best".

I want some opinion here.

Protest the Hero is a great transition band from Punk to Metal. I have this friend who loves Punk and Melodic-Hardcore bands, but doesn't like metal. I gave her the track Bloodmeat cuz I knew that maybe PTH might be a metal she likes. Aparently she liked the song and wishes to hear more. What I wanted opinion on is which album would be better for her, Kezia or this? Considering what I said about her, do you think she would enjoy Kezia more, or Fortress?

How come every girl I know and/or hang doesn't come even close to likely metal, are they hiding under rocks or something?

Then again most of my male friends don't like metal also.

Also she would most likely enjoy Kezia more due to it obtains some of their punk sound from Calculating, plus it's more poppy. This Message Edited On 02.08.08

No, they're all just fat and ugly and therefore you take no notice of them.

Once I'd like to meet a decent looking metal chick, kinda like the girl from Light This City.

If my girlfriend liked metal and stuff, I'd probably find her twice as attractive. Is that strange?

But yeah, more girls should like metal. More attractive girls.

Oh wait I do know an attractive girl who likes metal! :O

Yup, use bands like PTH, BTBAM and even Opeth as weapons.
