I prefer Through Silver In Blood and A Sun That Never Sets. Otherwise this album is good as fuck.

recommend my next neurosis album. i only have TSiB. i really like it, but would like it more if there were slightly more variety and more softer sections. but i still want the heaviness. i listened to the eye of every storm but got a little bored by how slow it was. judging on this i think i boiled it down to getting either this or times of grace. which one is better? and which one has more variety and cohesion overall?

I was in your exact position 4 years ago, I ended up getting into EOES the most, but it took me listening to this album as well as Enemy of the Sun before I really dug the band completely. Appreciation for TOG seems to have come later for me.

album is really solid but the vocals ruin it for me.

Album is solid, but i wish they didn't just cut the sound at the end of a few of the songs. Why not finish them? even a fade out would've been nicer than what they went with.

I've noticed that too but it's still a perfect album, they did enough fade out with The Eye of Every Storm.
