Slayer is still my least favorite of the Big 4 tbh. Nothing else in their discog matches their first 3 albums for me

I've never really liked Megadeth THAT much. I've always been a Metallica guy they've always been my favorite band of all time. But I swear this might be the best thrash album of all time. Shits perfect I would still listen to ride or master/justice over this most days of the year I don't really have a emotional connection with this band like it Metallica or a few other bands but yeah this is one of the hardest 5's ever. Prob top 5 metal album in general

pretty much same here tbh. hard to top my emotional connection to the early metallica albums i first listened to in 8th grade. but yeah this is just mindblowingly good. shame i didn't listen to it until this year.

glad they wised up and put the original version on streaming [2] really wish more acts would let you choose the original mix like that. still mad the previous mix of Dirt got completely removed from Spotify, there was NOTHING wrong with it - even the links i saw on reddit have about half the tracklist completely unplayable

Grew up with the 2004 remixes and never understood the hype. Then i discovered older versions existed and holy shit, im pissed i didn’t hear it this way first

Yeah “Five Magics” went from being my least fave song to being my 2nd fave song on the album after i heard the originals. Wtf was dave thinking with those kermit the frog backing vocals during the “possessed with hellish torment” part? The original backing vocals are so badass and menacing. Not sure what happened.
