for me, Deftones are a band of decent individuals (except Chino, he is a king) who manage to be so much more together than the sum of their individual parts

I’d say abe is pretty fucking talented too, but yeah kinda agree. They all just work so well together.

Butcher was one they played for a couple of years too.
All singles so no surprise really.

Same thing for me with Radiohead. Even though they are all extremely talented (Johnny Greenwood probably the most), their collective work really goes to show how amazing they are together

Chino is bloody incredible. One of my favorite vocalists. He lifts the band to greatness really

True that. His voice is magical and unique, when he tries to sound pretty or is screaming like a paranoid insomniac it’s a spectacle

I agree that the chemistry is astonishing. Carpenter is definitely one of my favourites in terms of riff writing. He never fails to impress me.

ofc Abe is also way more than average. But as good as he is, I just cannot imagine him carrying a band just with drums like Aric Improta (Night Verses) could do for example. That's why Abe is so fucking unique: imo he's the most talented teamplayer drummer out there

I love Carpenter's riffs but no way is he one of the best of this generation

Abe is amazing and one of the best team player drummers [2]. I love it when he throws in a super technical drumfill in a song out of no where...been doing that since 1995

First seven tracks on this album are 10/10. This really starts to fall off at Sextape.
