Whereas I do consider déjà my favourite album I really didn't expect one of my prior most listened too bands to be so well liked on here.

Yea this is definitely one of the most beloved albums on here. Rightly so too. It's honestly hard to explain to people that don't like this why people and myself love it so much

I really like it, but I wouldn't say I love it.

Fair enough. Too bleak for you or something? That's a common problem for some people with this.

i think i like deja better but for nostalgia reasons. i went and bought it at barnes and noble when it came out back in and it stayed in my car's cd player for months.

Not sure. Always been a bigger Dena fan for whatever reason. There are a lot of brilliant moments on here, but there are a few things that keep it away from a 4.5+ rating for me.

I can't really get into Deja. It's good, just nothing special to me.

Just curious Ecal what keeps your rating from getting higher?

I'd like to say Deja is a grower Mongi so that I could justify your dis-loving of it but honestly I fell in love it after the 3rd or so listen so you probably won't ever like it like you do this.

Well... there's two songs that irritate me, and I don't usually listen to them: I find Jesus to be a boring, repetitive, and completely skip able track (sorry to all the Jesus lovers out there). Luca has a nice ending, but I don't really like trudging through the first 4 minutes of the song just to hear it.

For me to give an album at least a 4.5, there are either no skip able tracks, or only one, and the rest of the album has to make up for it pretty hard.

Aww that hurts Luca is like top three for me. Jesus I could understand but it helps to relate to it more I guess that's why I love it. As long as you at least like Limousine haha

I think we did, but the first half of the song is incredible as always but the ending is sooooo anti climatic.

I like You Won't Know. That main riff is pretty excellent. Limousine is cool, too. I especially like it when he starts the "I can dish it out, but I can't take it" section.

My faves are Millstone, Degausser, and Not the Sun. Handcuffs is right behind them, but that little part in the bridge where it feels like it's heading somewhere really special just kind of pilfers out and makes me a little sad every time I hear it.
