Re-listened to this for the first time since it came out. It is better than I remembered, but I really wish we had gotten more stuff like the title track. Ohms is the best song on here and nothing else really sounds like it.

I agree. Ohms is a absolute jam, really feels like a breath of fresh air. A lot of this just feels like Deftones treading mostly familiar territory to me

Yeah, that's fair, but even middling deftones is still pretty good for me. I was listening to Crosses before and this was nice to hear right after. Only track I don't really like is Urantia, I think.

When it comes out, its the best album ever, then everyone turns on it, then its underrated, then deftones announce a new album that everyone goes apeshit over and the cycle continues.

The weird thing is that the cult towards SNW is only apparent on here. In every other Deftones fan community that I've seen, reddit, facebook groups or whatever it's unanimously barely considered as even a top 3 Deftones record which is wild to me.



Also, ATF and WP are not overratedand s/t is severely underrated (altho that's also been on the mend recently)
