i summed up my thoughts on kid a on that page not long ago and it's something to keep in mind next time you spin it when those first couple of tracks come on:
"i think its rare these days for music to actually capture a broad feeling felt throughout society at a particular time in history, but this really captures that early 00s feeling of how rapidly and mysteriously the internet and technology were becoming implicit in our lives
