First half of this is pretty close to perfect, second half brings it down a bit

Saw them in Berkeley, and it was great. Was hoping for Delivrance or Kodama, but hard to argue with the setlist. Flamme was a revelatory experience in person.



And Mono was surprisingly fun.

Yeah I thought the setlist was going to be too new album focused but the songs sounded so good live, it didn't even really matter.



I could have maybe done without L'adieu and Le miroir was an odd pick from Spiritual Instinct but I'm nitpicking really

To me, Mono was the highlight of that show. I’ve seen Alcest twice now and to me it seems they just can’t recreate the record experience in a live setting. Mono ruled though. I’ll go see them every chance I get from here on
