Bruh art. Just sit back and watch. I went in half way but don’t remember half of it.
We’re talking one of the best sets ever. Get in there if you want fucker. You will own that pit. But if you don’t. Just sit back and watch

were the supporting bands good? I don't listen to Loathe or any of the other ones, I'm gonna have to sit & mourn my way through their sets to get to the headline

Loathe was good but honestly messy. Interested to hear what you think. I really like the band, but it sounded like they had backing tracks. Overall good set.
Knocked loose tho, it’s just not a question or any doubt. They nailed it.

I’m talking about the pit. I’ve never seen a pit this big and honestly it’s better to just watch.

Man I want to get my ass kicked in the pit to Sit and Mourn so bad, if I was some normie fan I'd actually be pissed if I bought tickets unaware they don't play it

I thought Speed was cool as fuck and a great opener. Show Me the Body *isn't totally my thing but they were an interesting act and the DC crowd went nuts for them in the pit so they're doing something right. Plus I've never seen a hardcore band play a banjo.

Holy fuck, this album is amazing. Randomly came across the suffocate video w/ poppy and was blown away so had to hit up the album. What a fucking badass video too, demonic vibes all around. I love it.

Yeah, the song with Poppy is insaaaaaaaaaaaane. Fun fact: Poppy approached Bryan about collaborating after the album was finished and Bryan told the guys "we HAVE to write another song". So glad it made the record, I wonder what they ended up cutting for it. The song just goes stupid hard.

I'm still pissed they never recorded a studio version for Red Wine Stains.

Got me listening to poppy too and it’s just compelling. Addictive. Just the genre surfing. I love it. Saw her open for Deftones but hadn’t really listened to her stuff before.

What is Red Wine Stains?
Yeah, I like some of Poppy's stuff but her heavy stuff is hit-or-miss for me, I really liked her pop stuff on Am I A Girl and her industrial EP Choke fucking rules

Yeah I’ve basically only listened to the singles/videos on YouTube. A few live songs. But I’m intrigued enough to keep listening.

thanks Jay, I will check it out. I only recently got into this band so I don't know these things. Interesting that they opened with this yet chose never to record it, that seems super weird

No prob dude, yeah they definitely shouldn't have left it on the cutting room floor. I didn't realize how old it was at this point either, before Blue even dropped lol.
