This genuinely gives me a headache. Wildfire, Wax Wings and Thanks Nobuo are great though. Had this issue with a lot of P3 too. P4's fine and so is Juggernauts, so not sure why those two albums do my head in so much lol

I'll probably get back to this when I'm out of my gothic doom and Invent Animate moods

periphery is the san antonio spurs of metal

p1: 98-99 title team, tim duncan (misha) comes on the scene, helps aging superstar david robinson (lets say meshuggah to be extra inflammatory) to a title that really cements his legacy after a decade of falling just short, mostly a one man show

p2: 02-03 title team, the classic lineup is now set now with tony parker (mark) and manu ginobli (matt), but still mostly the duncan (misha) show

jugg: 04-05 title team, just straight locked in, everyone is contributing now

p3: 05-06 team that lost to the mavs in the semi, same team as last year except without bruce bowen (nolly), slightly disappointing but still a great team

p4: 06-07 title team, arguably the best team of them all, everyone at their peaks, sweeps lebron in the finals

p5: 13-14 title team, longest break between titles, tim duncan's (misha) prime is just about over, rest of the team in much older as well, but kawhi leonard (spencer) steps up with the carry job and leads them to one last title

i need sitar to proof read

periphery are the new england patriots of metal

p1: undefeated 2007 season only to lose to the giants

p2: repeat super bowl with the giants and nearly wins till the end

P3: 28-3 comeback win

P4: puts up insane stats in a loss to the eagles

P5: their post-Tom Brady era

what i think really completes my analogy is tony parker notoriously cheated on his wife with a teammates wife, just like how mark cheated on his wife with the covet girl... both of which ruined team chemistry (mark absent from p4 tour, 10-11 spurs losing in the first round)
