Plainsong and then Pictures of You is one of the greatest things ever.
Yeah. The first half of this album is a kind of mopey kid bliss which fades into all out depression.

Which is more depressing; this or Pornography? Bear in mind I haven't heard Pornography yet.

I'd say Pornography, but it's fairly close. You're better off listening to it yourself and making your own judgement, though ;]

pornography for sure
that album is borderline suicidal, this is more heartbreak / longing
dont let that deter you from it though, if you really like this you're probably going to really like that, it's similar in the layer production style and all that which makes this great, just darker sounding

it was harder for me to get into pornography tbh. this is more varied, has more moods/atmospheres flowing through it. the emotion is varied and distinguishable. pornography is constant crushing depression

well yeah this is more accessible
there is nothing close to resembling pop on that record
that's not necessarily a bad thing

The section in the title track starting at 'so it's all come back round to breaking apart' is unbelievably amazing.

Anyone else think Untitled is a little weak? Like, its a great song, but it doesn't really work well with the mood of everything else on the album. Anyone else feel that a little? Don't get me wrong, the song is still a masterpiece, but it just seems a little too light for this record.

Not lyrically. I meant musically. It doesn't provide the same etheral atmosphere of the first half, nor the drowning atmosphere of the second.
