"listen to me." Geography is a fantastic closer. One of my favorites from both CDs.

I like the "Big" songs off this albums, yet am kind of annoyed by the pace breaking of the smaller simpler ones. I like the idea of having them, but it seems like there are big songs, and very simple songs and nothing in between if that makes sense. Like I wish they added some more stuff to the first and last track, like a violin and flute or something to give it a bit more interest and complexity. Some of the tracks end up feeling like filler. The 2 interludes would have been enough, I don't think we need every other track to be just simple strumming on an acoustic guitar. I like the calmness of those songs but wish they where a bit more meaty.

There is a lot of stuff to the first and last track. In fact they're both pretty much flawless. Marid's Gift of Art is also stunningly beautiful and a whole lot more than "strumming on an acoustic guitar." The interludes could possibly be conceived as fillerish (I definitely prefer the ones on LYBM) but they flow nicely with the album.

I mean like with the first track it seems like something you'de hear in any spa place minus the climax. I mean why not
throw in some extra flutes or violins if you already have similarly very subdued tracks later?

I never knew that's what the lyric was. That's pretty romantic and sad.
