The more I return to this the more disappointed I get, sadly

"Fuck, this just gets better with time.

Still a bit messy but I think they could be on the verge of a classic, ignoring the recent release."

@ChoccyPhilly - I'm only on my first spin, but I'm having similar thoughts. It's a bit messy & disjointed in places, but I'm feeling there's a real diamond in the rough here. This is a jam.

Take out the pointless tacked on interludes, scrap New Faces and Red Room, and this is easily a classic quality album.

I agree 100% Jeet although I do like the vibe of the Sad Cartoon reprise so maybe keep that one. I wouldn’t care in the slightest if you cut the intro and the three tracks in a row of 451 Days-New Faces-Red Room in the middle, the rest bangs.

I think New Faces is one of the best songs on here. Interludes are also sick

Yea ngl that reprise is complete bliss. Its really the only interlude that left an impression on me.

Yeah dude same.

That one and Sad Cartoon are the bees knees on this album. Gotta say though, their heavy side is way too messy and disjointed for my liking. Wish they stuck with the Deftones style full time. Incorporate some good skramz here and there, but just cut tracks like Gored.

I feel like they're at their best when they either go full Deftones worship or mix it in with their heavy side. The title track is the best mixture of both and its one of the best songs on here too. But yea Sad Cartoon is amazing. Definitely my favorite song on here.

Full Deftones worship would be terrib. They have the formula perfect on here.

I’m just a sucker for this band so I 5’d it but I think their best route is honing their sound on Screaming and T/T, the mix between their two sounds is the best

Album slaps all the way till the loss of momentum at the end with the interludes and outros
