new track is some lion king OST hokeyness (in an alternate timeline where the lion king OST was less than awesome). 8 min runtime is wasted on it

reminds me of a lot of the qualities i didn't love on Kodama, but i remember that album being considerably more impressive - time for a revisit

new song is good - i do think it's a bit long for the ideas expressed. mixing/mastering is gorgeous. it's definitely their dreamiest set of sounds yet so i'm excited to see it pan out on the album.

imagine if the debut had this sound - it would be timeless. it's great as it is, of course, but the warm dreaminess of this new song feels like the logical step up.

I absolutely love the single. Alcest hasn’t done any wrong yet.

New track is great. The mix is great, drums were done in the same location as Kodama drums and Kodama drums = best drums obviously. Really digging this one a lot more than most of Spiritual Instinct. To me it feels like a blend of the nostalgic/longing atmosphere of Souvenirs with their modern Kodama sound. I'm stoked

Yeah, new song is amazing. I have zero objectivity when it comes to Alcest, they have my favorite sound in all of metal.

I think the mix sounds excellent on my Adam Audio A7X's, even at compressed streaming quality
