i actually kinda hear deathrattle doing some new things for them which i found a lil refreshing. thought the sound design side of things they were exploring on that album was pretty cool and i like the way the tempo fluctuates a lot within the songs. felt less safe than this and polar as a result to me but its holes have certainly poked through overtime (theres like no riffs lol its just chugs)
and yea closing duo and synthetic sun are really my only takeaways on polar unfort
