I can't think of a better record that shows just how emotionally and existentially debilitating cancer can be, and it's easily a classic. I personaly can't bear to listen to it anymore though, because of how drained it makes me feel afterward. I hate that too, because the music is flawless.

Bitter memories with this album. About two years ago my girlfriend at the time dug this up at the record store, and wow was that the biggest score ever. An incredibly rare SIGNED book of this on vinyl. But now it just hurts me to listen to.

Lament is quite different from the rest of their discog, maybe you should start with it for the gig
If you want to listen to their whole discog start with dead Horse or Parting and go chronogically, they have a pretty smooth evolution
