Bottom line....Maynard's a genius! Everything he touches is golden! TOOL is the best band of all time, hands down! The music is AMAZING and he's a real MF! He has never bought into the 'mainstream' bullshit that EVERY other band dives right into! They have made names for themselves mainly through word of mouth and have one of the largest fan bases ever. If you want to find their music you have to go to an actual store and buy it....you won't find any of their music on jukeboxes or I-tunes. And yet they've been going strong for 22, almost, 23 years and still have new fans coming out of the woodwork every day. Most bands have their 'hay-day' and then fall off. That's not the case with these guys, which is extremely remarkable! CHEERS to 22(almost 23) years of TOOL and another 22 to come!!!

Maynard is a comedic geinus. Puscifer was a band on Mr. Show he had. Tool's songs are deep yet full of sarcasm and comedy. How many have "really" listened to the words to their songs? Maynard also sings in Deftones song Passenger. He's a man of many talents including wine making. Yet he manages to lead a private life and doesn't put his personal life out there for people to ridicule. Kudos to him for that.
