Having only heard 70s Bowie prior to this I must say it's pretty remarkable how little his voice changed, at least compared to, say, Bob Dylan for example.

Sue (Or In a Season of Crime) is such an awesome song.

I have to be in the right mood to enjoy Pity, Sue, and Girl Loves Me. The rest always does it for me.

Girl Loves Me is by far my least favorite, but I could see it growing on me with time. I've still only given this a handful of spins.

Interesting. I find the vocal melodies Girl Loves Me somewhat irritating though the instrumental is great.

I think it's more or less because I have such a soft spot for A Clockwork Orange I mean Alex DeLarge used to be my avi for quite a while here (to the point where some users thought I was Malcolm like some users see Conmaniac as Gambino)

Well I used to imagine you as one of those white nerdy dudes who would be into stuff like cats and Mexican food till I saw your pic on the Sput yearbook

haha, well I do obviously like cats and Mexican food so you were really only wrong about the whiteness (and even then I'm not 100% black)

Yeah, It's rough.. I grew up Listening to Bowie with my Parents. I remember watching the Spider Glass Tour on TV in the late 80's.. I was hooked to say the least. This is still AOTY for me. Wonderful album, really.
