FOABP, The Incident, and this one are a trilogy of concept albums about isolation in my book, so it's logical to compare them. I think I prefer FOABP ever so slightly over this. Seems more well-rounded in comparison.

Really? I love Perfect Life. I feel like that song right after "Hand. Cannot. Erase." is where the emotion of the album really takes off. It's such a heartbreaking story.

I never liked Perfect Life tbh and it's still the most boring part of the album imo. Transcience is great though. I love the way the sweet nostalgia and the dark vibe coexist in every moment of the song. It's also a great building of atmosphere before Ancestral sets off.
