Disco Volante is my favorite, but this is a close second

I always feel like I'm impressed by Disco Volante more than I actually enjoy it. I mean the idea of them actually composing and getting down something like "Carry Stress" is almost super-human, considering how many variables & changes there are in the whole thing, complete with perfectly-synchronized runs that would otherwise be seemingly random. But yeah, despite all that, I just love and enjoy California & even self-titled so much more

I'd say that Disco Volante is the best, while California is my favourite

I used to prefer this, but then I realized Disco Volante is better, even if I’m in the mood to listen to this more often

This is more easily enjoyable for sure but few albums hold up against DV's creativity. Need to jam it again, it's been too long. Can we all agree that the s/t is easily their worst?

I like California best, and s/t and Disco are like neck and neck

All 3 are 4.5+ anyway

I wouldn't call it "worst", but it's pretty much straightforward.

...no? DV is the most 'out there' but not all of their experiments worked and had one big stinker on it.

i don't think there is a "worst" Bungle album. their albums are so wildly different it seems impossible to actually, truly compare them in any way and i wouldn't be surprised by any personal ranking of the band's discog, even one that had Cali last (which I would obv strongly disagree with)

true shit tho i kinda prefer OU818 to self-titled. short & sweet, more or less has my favorites from the album itself, & has a certain, "thick" tape sound throughout that i'm just a sucker for

OU818 has my fav song by the band (Mr. Nice Guy), it's sooooooo good. The rest of it is pretty nice too, wish they kept that drum sound on the album.

Got bored, I guess.

Now, I love Donna Hayward.
