haha nice. dbm1 is still one of my all time favs that i got into when i was 19-20, still holds up. had it in my rotation for months. one of the main albums i associate with good memories before life you know.

Idk if I've ever heard this one

It’s good just some cringe lyrics here and there
Top 2-3 ez
|
| |
Cringe lyrics are like this band's main thing
|
| |
This is true
This is worth the check though
Especially spooks that song hits
|
| |
You really gotta look past the lyrical content to enjoy this band, unfortunately

not sure about that, this is Mess at his best lyrically and while Jonny isn't exactly great he's way ahead of Tillian for sure

I think my favorite 3 album run from the band wildly had 3 different vocalists:
Happiness -> DBM II -> Acceptance Speech (only 2.0, originals production is ASS)

This band honestly had an outstanding four album run from DBM 1 all the way up to this one. Shame how they drove their whole sound off of a cliff when they went on full autopilot mode with Tilian. Late 2000's DGD will never be topped.

@Futures and iChuckles I encourage you both to check Acceptance Speech 2.0, Instant Gratification and Mothership. I agree everything post-Mothership fell off a cliff, but the start of the Tillian era was real solid aside from the God awful production on the original Acceptance Speech.

instant grat is ok and i really did not like mothership at all. awkward is one of my fav dgd songs though so the tillian era has that for me lol
