I'll 5 it once a good remaster comes. Production values matter in my ratings.

If you want to talk about a lack of bass, the first time I heard this was the original cut on cassette, on a really poor cassette player that had no bass at al.

Good thing this has riffs.

The acoustic section in To Live is to Die is boss. I was playing it at some drunk college party way back in the day and told this chick that I wrote it and she was impressed and it was a good night.

yeah man its a pretty obscure little piece since its locked in the middle of a 9 minute instrumental so I got away with it hard.

I mean I would impress the chicks with all the solos from Hangar 18 but Dave would slap me hard.

lol dude yeah Im a totally amateur player the only solo I can do is the first one in Nothing Else Matters m/

Can play chords like no tomorrow though, and that acoustic passage is basically a variation of A Minor/G.

people bitch about the bass a lot, even i did when i reviewed this in like 2006 but its not like cliff burton was geddy lee or anything, you could only hear his bass on like, 2 or 3 songs per record

I'm not too worried about the bass though it would be nice for some more. A remaster would clean up some of the ugly fuzziness and bring out the drums better. That would be 5 star shit right there.
