What can I say I'm an In Flames fanboy, this floats between a 3.5 to a 4 for me

Pacing Death's Trail has the best chorus of the album

Arguably In Flames' most underrated album.

Whenever I think underrated IF, this isn't the release that immediately comes to mind. For me, it's a toss up between Lunar Strain and Soundtrack to Your Escape; the former especially.

LS is good. Can't really handle Soundtrack that much.

Reroute is good. Lunar strain is as well, but in a different way.

This, Jester, and colony are top 3.

This is the last in flames album thats consistently good. Almost the last good in flames album in general except a sense of purpose has a few jams and "the chosen pessimist" is a masterpiece.

Last In Flames album that's good period. Although I don't hate ASoP and SoaPF as much as others.

This is the last good In Flames album, in my opinion. It completely outclasses any of their later work.

"

Giving this one a 5 huh?"

Yes. It has an extreme amount of emotion and is the best work of this era IF as far as technical prowess is concerned.

I was just interested. It's definitely the best of post-Clayman In Flames.

Things probably would have gone differently if Anders' voice didn't get shot, he's killer on here.
