Motionless in White put on a pretty great love show I must admit, but wasn't digging that song. The vox are WHATTHEFUCK high in the mix. My phone autocorrected what the fuck to be in all caps. It knows.

The autotune on here is just beyond awful though

but seriously tho this is not hipster music, it's teenybopper pop rock that has a fancy aesthetic to lead 14-year-old girls into believing that this album is a textbook example on how to become one

ftw rym refuses to call this indie pop even tho it is

Ofc Snakedelilah gets triggerd when someone says hipster...

This is more like level 1 hipster music; this is for upcoming hipsters who think they are hipsters but really aren't there yet. Kinda like how Slipknot fanboys claim to be troo metalheads yet they've only listened to a few Slipknot albums and a Staind cd.

thought it was incredibly unhipster to admit to liking this since 2012 tbh.
|

Considering how popular this was in 2012 I don't think you can call it hipster.

Most highschool hipsters aren't real hipsters. They say they listen to underground shit yet still wear
Imagine Dragon or Fitz And The Tantrums. That said, indie rock and indie pop has made a huge mainstream
uprising in the last two or three years.

I honestly don't remember, radio indie is probably my least favorite genre of music, I always felt like that was kinda missing the point of the genre.
|
| |
it's changed a lot, I'll give it that but I can't help but think it's a tad stagnant right now

That's because indie is so not a genre.
