"There is nothing redeemable about Honor thy father"

I love the drum intro to the song. There is a rap part or something in it that sounds a little wack, but other wise I like the song.

"DT stuff is almost never average as those guys are just awesome musicians"

Yes, my point exactly.

See, I disagree. I must like this record quite a bit more than most on this site

I still listen to this actually. Not anywhere near as much as I used to, but I still spin this from time to time

Theres just no substance to this album. Songwriting is almost non existent at times

I don't know. Maybe I just can't see it. "Endless Sacrifice", "Stream Of Consciousness", & "In The Name Of God" are excellently written songs for me. All of the tempo changes, over-the-top guitar work, and of course the odd time signatures just make those great tracks.

There's plenty of good songwriting in this album, like the all of the Glass Prison and In The Name of God are composed very nicely

If In The Name Of God didn't have one of their absolute worst solo sections it'd be in my top 5 DT songs. It just kills all the momentum the song had going, never understood why people find it the best on the album. The wank is bad even by their standards
