Clearly. On top of them clearly trying too hard to be hipster, their search function doesn't work so there is no easy way to find what you want to on the site. It's weird that such a popular site has such a fail layout.



Has anyone noticed that hipsters won't acknowledge popular alternative or rock stuff, but they WILL acknowledge popular hip-hop/R&B? Their list had no popular alt stuff but had Beyonce, Watch The Throne, etc.

Yea, well, from an outside perspective, they are extremely close minded when it comes to music. I like the some of the stuff they like but so much more. They rarely touch on metal and it usually isn't a positive review if they do. I don't see why they insist on completely ignoring so many genres of music. Why can't people just enjoy all kinds of music? But then again, that's not the point of pitchfork. The point of pitchfork is to tell the indie masses what to listen to. So I can have my opinion that they are awful because having a music website directed only at those who are trendy indie listeners is fucking stupid.
