The only part that the video-games took from this movie is the laser passage.

That Resident Renholder remix of The Outsider was badass in the later movie too

I still have that soundtrack CD somewhere. As if having Slipknot, Method Man, Depeche Mode and Coal Chamber (just googled the track list) together on one disc made any sense lmao.

Video game soundtracks got more coherence with the compilation of songs of a particular genre.

Man, late 90s/early 2000s movie soundtracks are such perfect snapshots of their times.

The Little Nicky soundtrack was actually pretty sweet at the time.

All those were good. Queen of the Damned I remember distinctly; produced by Jonathan Davis if I remember right, and the soundtrack was actually pretty sick and made sense for the movie. RIP Chester who was on that too.

The Freddy Vs Jason soundtrack... it's perhaps solely responsible for turning me into a life-long metalhead tbh

Only songs I remember from that are "Sun Doesn't Rise" (Mushroomhead) and "When Darkness Falls" (Killswitch Engage).

everybody seems to love this album but I find it very monotonous and same-y. Self-titled album and Vol. 3 are much better.

Not just you; I hate this shit. Vol. 3 is the only album I like of theirs.

If I heard any of these albums for the first time, I honestly don't know what I'd think.

My love of these early Slipknot albums is probably largely based in nostalgia and the fact this was the first real heavy record I loved (way back in middle school).

Vol. 3 is one of my least fave albums of theirs. It has some sick songs like Pulse Of The Maggots, The Nameless, and Virus Of Life, but also has some of the bands most atrocious songs like Duality and Before I Forget which are basically Stone Sour songs that have no business on a Slipknot album.

Though I really do like Circle a lot even if it's basically Bother pt 2

Rick Rubin can produce the heaviest albums by slayer

Can't produce an album with the same quality of the self titled and iowa

Disasterpiece is still a masterpiece, the only problem with this effort is the final track, god dammit what a waste of space
