I like his voice actually even if it isn't perfect. Once again I will say, they need to try different tunings, the d flat is getting pretty boring.

That's what the creator of guitar or whatever chose it to be, that doesn'tmean right. Thursday, Robert Fripp, Circa Survive, Led Zeppelin, Nick Drake, even Architects experiment a little bit. I'm just saying I'm growing tired of the standard sound they've been going for on the past 3 albums, maybe it's their recordings as well, they're always very compressed and clean, they could use some rawness.

I agree. I guess I think their sound now is down to a formula and I can't take one more album of that sound, I hope they improve and start being heavier when it counts and stop going back to basic btbam 101 lol.
